annual events
Our monthly meetings are generally held one Wednesday of each month at 7:30 in the Faculty Lounge on the second floor. Check our calendar for any changes.
Come join us! We always have fun, it's a great way to meet people and best of all we're helping our boys! Some of the events sponsored by the Fordham Prep Mothers' Club are shown below.
Every year the Mothers' Club holds a Christmas celebration. This event is run by Freshman Mothers (with lots of support from old timers!).
In January we host our annual winter party and tuition raffle. download flier (Word doc)
We can't say much here about the senior mother-son Valentine dance, which is held every February in the Commons. It's a wonderful night for senior boys and their moms/guardians - the boys call it the "Mom Prom" - but the order of the evening is kept secret. It is run by FPMC Past Presidents and Board members to maintain the surprise for current senior moms. All we're told is that there's not a dry eye in the house.
We are gearing up for our main fundraiser: the annual spring dinner/fashion show. It's the biggest social event for the Fordham Prep Mothers' Club. Don’t miss this event that always sells out! Save the date now!
Take some time for quiet reflection and prayer during the Lenten season at our morning of spiritual renewal. Join other Prep parents and guardians at Mass and for a talk by an inspirational speaker. A light breakfast and lunch are served. download invitation and registration form (pdf file)
The Mothers’ Club closes its year by honoring the parents of the Senior Class at the annual communion supper. Parents of all Fordham Prep students, alumni, and incoming freshmen are invited to join us for Mass in the Fordham Church, followed by a catered dinner and guest speaker in the Hall of Honor. The evening concludes with installation of the FPMC Executive Board for the next school year. Reservations must be received by April 30. download flier and registration form (pdf file)
